Playbooks

Playbooks and rules

Turn repeating setups and mistakes into measurable trading rules.

A playbook is a repeatable setup or behavior pattern that you want to measure. Use playbooks to define what a valid trade looks like, which rules must be followed, and how that setup performs over time.

Start with one or two high-frequency setups instead of documenting every possible idea. Add rules that are observable after the trade, such as session, market condition, entry trigger, invalidation, planned risk, and management rule. Tag trades with the relevant playbook so Reports and Sentry can compare performance.

If Sentry suggests a playbook, review it before using it. AI can draft structure from your data, but you are responsible for deciding whether the rule is valid for your trading process.
